In the same way Arcadia is shaping meaningful places for all Australians in regional and urban settings, our approach is to create meaningful career experiences for our team.
Our projects are only as good as our people – we develop Arcadians at all levels from undergraduates still studying to senior practitioners developing the skills to be the next generation of leaders. We recognise that growth is holistic and about more than professional skills. It’s how we feel, interact and think and we encourage our people to embrace that from day one.

We create reasons to love coming to work every day, including:
Our dedication to First Nations communities, the wider community, and creating sustainable environments creates opportunities for our employees to learn and reciprocate through the employee experience at Arcadia.
Arcadia has developed into a successful practice that is always evolving, with a constant creative tension and desire to innovate and improve the way we do things. We have developed innovative mechanisms for flexibility and remote work, which maximise our productivity and encourage a high level of initiative and communication in the team.
The training, technical mentoring, and professional development opportunities that Arcadia provides - combined with the diversity of projects - creates a unique environment for all employees to grow their career.
The approaches with BIM training, cross-studio design presentations, design forums, structured learning sessions and coaching from Principals such as myself, allows designers of all seniority and industry experience to contribute across a range of public and private projects and to build their experience and skills.
I have had the opportunity, from early in my career at Arcadia, to work across such a diverse range of sectors and be exposed to every facet of the design process - from master planning to detail design, to project management and construction administration – which is something I now enjoy enabling others to experience.
Working at Arcadia whilst studying my future profession as a landscape architect has had acompounding positive effect on my professional development, industry practice and study experience – which was further enabled by receiving Arcadia’s Indigenous Scholarship. As a Wiradjuri man, working at Arcadia aligns with my personal and professional desire to work with, to benefit, and to heal Country, and gives space for genuine conversation to happen in the built environment – something that is quite important to me and my own journey with Country and Community.
